About the Instructor

At Advanced Aid Solutions, we believe that effective training starts with real-world experience. Our lead instructor brings decades of service, skill, and dedication to every class.

Phil Haebe:

AHA-Certified Instructor | Paramedic | Veteran

With a career built on readiness and service, Phil offers more than just certification—he brings a legacy of lifesaving experience into every classroom.

  • Search & Rescue Team Member
    Served 3 years with the Santa Cruz County Sheriffs Office search and rescue team, including deployment during the 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake, one of the most devastating disasters in California history. During this event he performed low angle rescues, collapsed structure operations, and victim recoveries.

  • U.S. Army Veteran
    Completed 8 years of service as a CH-47 Chinook Helicopter Flight Engineer, where he developed advanced aviation and emergency response skills under combat conditions. Phil has done tours in Korea with deployments to Kosovo, where he was awarded for the evacuation of a 4yr old victim of a land mine strike, Kuwait, and was with the 101st Airborne Division for OIF I in 2003-2004.

  • Experienced Paramedic
    Began his EMS journey in 2005 as an EMT-Basic, graduating from Temple College’s Paramedic Program in 2009. Since then, he's worked across 911 systems, rural and urban EMS, instructed EMT Basic courses for High School Seniors, and as a Field Training Officer.

  • Shipboard Medical Officer
    Provided solo emergency medical care aboard ships in Alaska’s Bering Sea and the Gulf of America, where access to hospitals is days away and every decision counts.
